The worst experience ever! Money wasted for nothing I’ve paid 400€ for my first visit I was left with dismay..., the results shared verbally not even a copy were not given to me, previously, I have visited a government hospital and in my own case that was far better and the tools they used for testing were more advanced... I wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone in my entire life
I did specifically ask to be seen by Dr Nadal , who is the best in the Barraquer. When, I arrived they told that he wasn’t there anymore and can’t provide any details about him. Search him online and he is working in another clinic with other top surgeons that had left Barraquer.
It looks like all top ophthalmologists have left Barraquer. So, Barraquer is just another standard clinic. Dr Nadal and his team do work in Doha too.
If you are from the GCC, don’t travel here. Just travel to Qatar, book an appointment with the ophthalmology department in the View Hospital. Safe and clean city, not like Barcelona.
we paid for a surgery it was the ring segments for keratoconus
an expensive one and now i can't see just like before i did that surgery they didn't give me my papers of ly exams and topography and my surgery details
i feel like i was just ripped off by the clinic because all that matters is that money that we broke our necks for
I have to say that since my first treatment in 2005 till now I have always been very happy about it. The whole team saved my eye sight and gave me enough options to carry on a normal life. A special mention goes to Eloi Rodriguez who over the years, has been instrumental and an angel, a real master in finding always the perfect combinations of lenses for me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for giving me a new life!
Perfect clinic and professional staff.doctors with extensive experience, always ready to help and provide support. They saved my eyesight after I suffered a terrible injury at work. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. A recommendation to anyone who has vision problems.
No respect for patients specially old timers who had done surgery and no consideration for international patients who are coming from abroad to get treatment. They were good few years ago but I can see that their services are becoming below standard. Physicians are impatient to receive questions and try to push the patients away and not taking the matter serious . I am really disappointed with such behavior. Also the nurses attitude with in-patients was not polite.
Went there to get a prescription for glasses and contact lenses. The technician who tested my eyesight was polite and friendly, dealing with the fact that Spanish isn't my first language and helping with the fog on the lenses due to 2020 mask situation. However my visit with Dr Pesic was very poor. His overall condescending tone and lack of support was very off putting. He basically told me that I was pregnant and shouldn't do anything because my eyesight can be impacted (How the hell did I know? Another fun fact they never tell you about pregnancy)... problem is I am running out contact lenses and it's impossible to wear glasses with a mask when you also need to breathe. Why did he speak to me so poorly instead of working out a solution with me that helps making my life better? Doctors are supposed to help patient improving their quality of life, not insulting them for 5min and pocketing their paycheck. Rude.
